West Ham agree Andy Carroll 15 million deal

Liverpool transfers

West Ham has agreed an estimated deal of GBP 15 million to make the Liverpool player, Andy Carroll’s loan deal with the Hammers a permanent one. The ball is in Andy Carroll’s court with the player yet to make a decision as to whether he would join West Ham or not, when it is still known that he wants to prove his class at Liverpool, who no longer need his services.

He may have had a mixed season with West Ham, where he only showed his class in the latter half of the season, which was enough for West Ham to show faith in the player and sign him. Andy Carroll has scored seven goals for West Ham during the season. His physical presence in the team has helped West Ham and Sam Allardyce is keen to get him on board permanently.

But West Ham are also keeping a close tab on Vitesse Arnhem’s Wilfried Bony, as the club would look for this player, if Andy does not make his loan deal permanent. Sam Allardyce has made it clear that acquiring big Andy’s signature would be his top priority in the summer.

The Liverpool star was brought in 2011 for GBP 35 million from Newcastle United by Kenny Dalglish after the reds sold Torres to Chelsea. Though, this move may not be benefiting Liverpool financially, but it is a wise move to sell the player as he is not wanted by Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers whose style of play does not suit Carroll’s game. His wage bills would be too much for Liverpool to bear, if he is regularly seated in the bench. But Andy Carroll’s deal would bolster Liverpool’s transfer kitty, where they are in a serious need of central defenders, left back and someone up front as well.

There are other teams in the fray for Carroll’s signature as well with clubs such as Newcastle United and Monaco expected to go in for the player sometime soon. So one can expect Andy Carroll transfer to spice up in the summer.
