Kieron Pollard drops three catches in a row

Kieron Pollard did something, which has never been heard in the cricket circles, where the West Indian dropped three catches in a row against Chennai Super Kings. The beneficiary batsmen on the other end was CSK’s opening batsmen, Michael Hussey where he cut thrice straight enough to Kieron Pollard and the ball being floored on all occasions in the bowling of Mitchell Johnson. This all happened in Mumbai’s first over.

To make the situation worse and embarrassing for Pollard, the player had to head back to the pavilion after his third missed catch, which reechoed to his nose after hitting his hands hard. Blood came out of his nose, as it seemed, after it hit the nose. The batsmen has already had a bad game with an unimpressive show with the bat.

But, all in all what seems most surprising is the player who has dropped these catches – Kieron Pollard. With the fielding standard that has been set by Kieron Pollard, this has been one of the worst showing by the West Indian, who has already taken some of the best catches in IPL 2013.  Some of those catches helped Mumbai win their match as well.
