Radamel Falcao transfer

Radamel Falcao is one of the most wanted strikers in world football and Manchester United is said to be the front runners for the Atletico Madrid’s striker, who has been prolific this season with 26 goals. With such kind of success, it is almost guaranteed that the player would be sold to some rich club – in the process prove beneficial to Atletico as well.

It has even been rumoured that some down payment has already been agreed between the two clubs. The player is easily valued around more than GBP 40 million and Madrid will not let off go their prime striker on cheap terms. They would like to get as much money as possible from the transfer, as they will also use some of this money to get in his replacement as well. If the deal is made through, it would make for one of the deadliest offensive line up comprising of players such as Robin Van Persie, Radamel Falcao, Wayne Rooney, Welbeck and Hernandez. They might too many strikers in their ranks and it would not be surprising if Wayne Rooney would be sold to some other clubs, which has been talked about in recent past as well.

Chelsea, after the flop show of Fernando Torres ever since he joined the blues are also on the look out for a world class striker and they have the cash rich Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich to sign the player. There is no player in world football, who the Russian cannot buy, if it just boils down to money alone. Chelsea has also been tracking Edinson Cavani. Other teams such as Real Madrid and Manchester City are also on the reckoning to get the player’s signature. Irrespective of which team Falcao decides to join, he will have an immediate impact next season with the rich goal scoring form he is in.
