Queens Park Rangers is one of the EPL teams that needs to be serious during the January transfer window. There can be no better person to scout for the club other than Harry Redknapp, their manager to bring in quality players and help avoid relegation. Loic Remy is said to be very close to signing a deal with QPR for an estimated GBP 8 million.

Apart from this, the club has also shown interest in Rennes’ midfielder Yann M’Vila , who could also sign for QPR in the transfer window. With these deal set to be made today, one can assure that the club is marching the right way forward. Their prime target this season would be to avoid relegation. One should not be surprised if Harry Redknapp gets in a quality defender as well, which he is on the lookout for during the January transfer winodw.

Chelsea after having signed Demba Ba from Newcastle United has made an offer of GBP 8.5 million for the Celta Vigo striker, Lago Aspas. Such kind of bid by Chelsea also brings into light about the lack of confidence that the club has with Fernando Torres.

Liverpool are on the lookout of a central defender as Coates has not enjoyed a good time with Liverpool and Carragher is past his prime, so they need back up for Skrtel and Agger. Vegard Forren, the Norwegian defender will train with Liverpool players and if Brendan Rodgers is satisfied in his short stint, he might sign him later in the January transfer window.

Arsenal has been lacking firepower in spite of having so many strikers in their club, so they were looking for options – one of them was David Villa. But, its bad news for the club, as Barcelona has stated that Villa will not be sold in the January transfer window.
