Football transfer: Sahin joins Dortmund, will Sneijder join Galatasaray?

January 12, 2013

Nuri Sahin, who was loaned out to Liverpool from Real Madrid has signed another loan deal with Borussia Dortmund after his Liverpool deal being cut short. It is a wise move by the player, as he was not getting playing time at Anfield as well.

Wesley Sneijder, who was also wanted by teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham may decide to join Turkish giants, Galatasaray for GBP 8.3 million. Talks have already taken place for the player’s signature.

Son Heung-Min the Hamburg striker, who was wanted by Liverpool, last year, seems to have attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur as the club has always shown keen interest when it comes to young players. The player seems to be valued at GBP 8 million.

Moussa Sissoko might well be seen playing for Sunderland as the player could make a move to the EPL club from Toulouse, where his contract ends at the end of the season. But, the club could sell him for GBP 3.5 million, which could make both parties happy. Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill is said to be quite close on landing the French international.

Harry Redknapp’s side, QPR has been one of the busiest side in the January transfer window, as they have been linked to a number of players such as Loic Remy, David Beckham etc. The latest names doing the rounds are West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie and Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila. The latter has been a long time target of Arsenal as well. It has been understood that QPR have already offered GBP 7.5 million for Yann M’Vila. They have been doing their best to attract the best and accomplished names in world football, as they are keen to avoid relegation.

Aston Villa has stated that the team is not in a position to sign players such as Joleon Lescott and Scott Parker for financial reasons. Hence, it is time that they look to sign players which fits into their budget.
