Chelsea’s Ashley Cole to Real Madrid, Lampard to Juventus or Manchester United?

January 11, 2013

Ashely Cole in all probability is playing his last season for Chelsea, where his contract expires at the end of the season. The player has been linked with a number of top clubs such as PSG, Manchester United etc. Of late, the player has also been linked with Real Madrid, as his agent is said to have headed over to speak to the Spanish club officials about a move for next season, which is possible.

Another Chelsea star, Frank Lampard also holds the same case as that of Cole, whose contract also ends this season. The player has been loyal towards the club, even after being linked to many clubs in the past – in his prime days. But, things are beyond his control now, with the Chelsea hierarchy not keen on his services. The player has attracted interest from Manchester United. But they are going to face stiff competition from Juventus and Fiorentina who have also shown interest in signing the former England captain.

Danny Graham, who had an impressive showing last year for Swansea has been living under the shadows of Michu, who has been the find and bargain of the season. He has not been given enough playing time, which the player is not very happy about. It has also been heard that the club is also trying to sell the player in order to get the funding required to sign the Stoke City striker, Kenwyne Jones.

Harry Redknapp is known for good buys and help his team attain greater heights. It is for this reason that QPR boss handed over the managerial job to Redknapp, who is now expected to save QPR’s season – by avoiding relegation. Hence, he needs to sign in better players during the January transfer window. Loic Remy, Jonas Olsson, David Beckham, William Gallas are just few names that have been linked with the club ever since the Transfer window opened.
