Manchester United wants new goalie, QPR transfers, Lampard contract news

January 7, 2013

Manchester United is out in the market for a goalkeeper, as David Gea has not been able to live up to the standards even after given a number of chances under the bar by Alex Ferguson. Goalie such as Begovic and Pepe Reina have been rumoured to be their target. Talking about goalkeepers, Birmingham City goalie, Jack Butland might hear a bid coming his way from Arsenal. Liverpool was also said to have interested in Butland earlier.

QPR has also launched for a bid for French international midfielder Yann M’Vila, 22, who has been a long target for many EPL clubs. It is Loic Remy, who seems to be the prime target for QPR, as they are ready to shell out around GBP 11 million to acquire the player’s signature. But, Newcastle United and West Ham interest in the player may not be comforting news for QPR. West Ham, on the other hand still has not given up on signing the former England captain, David Beckham.

Manchester United is also trying to sign winger Wilfred Zaha from Crystal Palace, which is not going to be an easy job, as Tottenham has also shown interest on the player.

Tottenham Hotspur well let go one of their midfielder, Jake Livermore on loan to Queens Park Ranger, who are struggling to avoid relegation.

Earlier there were rumours, which suggested that Frank Lampard would open talks for a new contract with Chelsea. But, as per latest reports he was told by the club that his contract shall not be extended thus signaling his last season with Chelsea.
