January transfer window 2012/2013 updates: Sturridge to Liverpool, Demba Ba to Chelsea, Adrian Lopez to Arsenal?

Liverpool are on the brink of their first signing Daniel Sturridge for GBP 12 million, who is expected to play on Sunday in Liverpool colours. Talks are said to have progressed for getting their academy player, Tom Ince, who was sold to Blackpool by Kenny Dalglish. Liverpool also have set their eyes on Gramerio from PSG.

Chelsea have been a long time admirer of Bayer Leverkusen forward, Andre Schrulle and are keen to sign the player on January. They are also looking for another striking options, so names such as Demba Ba, Falcao and Villa are doing the rounds. Demba Ba might clinch the deal but only after a good deal is struck for Ba, as an offer is said to have been turned down over wages.

Manchester United may well sell their winger, Nani, who does nor have a good relationship with Ferguson. Surprisingly there are some rumours, which also suggest that the club might be interested in Lampard and Ashley Cole from Chelsea.

Arsenal are keen to fight for Theo Walcott, who has been a target for number of clubs, but the player has still not penned down a new contract, so his future lies uncertain. They have eyed Adrian Lopez from Atletico Madrid as another striker for the club as well.

Fellani, the Everton player has been a wide target for a number of top notch clubs, but the player wants to stay at the club and their manager has said that he will not sell Fellani.
