Demba ba release contract

There are a number of teams that are keen on signing a striker during the January Transfer window, such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool just to name a few. There may be other clubs as such as well apart from these EPl teams that would be keen to bolster their striking options. Demba Ba, with his GBP 7 million release clause is one of the most wanted strikers in world football. 7 million is a bargain buy for any club.

Alan Pardew, his current Newcastle manager is in a helpless position, as the ball in the player’s court and he can move to whichever team he wants due to the release contract, which he holds. Pardew has been vocal and said that he is not keen on losing out on Demba Ba’s services, if he decides to leave. The player has been an important player this season, where he has scored as many as 11 goals in 18 appearances, which puts him in the bracket of one of the best strikers in the EPL.

It is due to his 7 million release contract that teams would be eager to sign the player during January transfer, else Pardew has made it clear that he will do something about it in the summer – he may have to seal Ba’s deal with Newcastle United or see the player move on. Arsenal is one of the favourite teams to get the players signature for such a low price – Wenger excels at signing quality players for such price and it seems to be a tailor made signing for him.

But, we can never count out teams like Liverpool and Chelsea as well. Both teams are in serious need for such a striker, who has a good track record in the EPL as far as scoring goals are concerned. On the contrary, Ba has openly stated that he would love to join PSG, as it is the team that he supports as well. Teams are aware of Pardew’s disinterest in selling the player of such quality, so if clubs fail to acquire his services during the January Transfer window, one can expect to work something out in the summer, which might just shoot rocket the player’s price tag.
