Falcao Chelsea transfer

Radamel Falcao has been scoring goals like McDonald’s selling its burger in the United States. He has scored 41 goals in 49 appearances for Atletico Madrid after joining the Spanish club in 2011, which has made him the most wanted footballer for the January transfer window. But, not all teams can even think of signing the player, only cash-rich clubs such as Manchester City, PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United could even pause for a moment and think about buying the player. But, as of now, Chelsea are one of the favourites to sign the player, provided Atletico are ready to offload the player from their list. But, do not count out Manchester City, who are also keen for a world-class striker to joining their club.Falcao might just cost around 48 million euros.

There are chances that the former Porto player might not be allowed to move to Chelsea, as it is due to his record in the La Liga that Atletico has even stayed ahead of Real Madrid, which is a victory in itself. This has only been made possible by Falcao’s amazing run in the La Liga this season, where he has amassed 17 goals in the season, second only to Lionel Messi with 25 goals. So, Chelsea are looking for such striker, who could find the back of the net with ease.

With Daniel Sturridge move to Liverpool almost a done deal for the January transfer window, it is almost certain that the blues are in search for another striker. Fernando Torres has also not been in the best of form, so Abramovich would not hesitate to move in for Falcao in the upcoming transfer window. He could bring in a lot of confidence to the club with his rich vein of goal-scoring form , which has not looked the same after their initial matches in the EPL under Di Matteo.

But, until the pen is put down on the contract paper, we cannot say anything as far as the transfer window is concerned, as earlier it was Real Madrid who were tipped as favourites to sign the Colombian striker, Falcao. But, the tide has turned towards Chelsea. Has it really, or is is just another rumour?
