Will Robin Van Persie be a Manchester United player?

August 9, 2012

RVP, Manchester United, Arsenal, Football transfer

Robin Van Persie, Arsenal’s striker has been the most talked about player in the 2012/13 transfer window, but no club has been able to sign the player. Earlier, it was Manchester City and Juventus who were rumoured to have been the favourites to land with the player’s signature. But, they have failed and are looking for options elsewhere. The latest team to enter the fray has been Manchester United who would do wonders to bring him in.

Arsenal are on no way going to let the player go at a cheap price, as he is a class act and if Arsenal wants do involve in good business, Van Persie is their man. He will not be sold for less than 20 million. Manchester United is already said to have made a bid for the Dutch striker, who was the best player in the EPL last season. Hence, top teams across the world are interested for his signature. He has matured as a great player.

If Manchester is successful in their objective of achieving his signature, then Manchester would have a great strike force where he would partner Wayne Rooney. It has the potential to be the best striking pair in the World.

But, Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger may think twice of selling their player to their arch rivals, Manchester United, which he has never done in his Arsenal’s career. Will this be his first?

The guy has all the money in the world. Why not go abroad instead of Arsenal’s most hated rivals ?
