Clubs interested in Liverpool’s Andy Carroll

July 13, 2012

Andy Carroll, Liverpool GBP 35 million tag

Andy Carroll was brought to Liverpool from Newcastle United for a whopping GBP 35 million after Liverpool’s EL Nino , Fernando Torres was sold to Chelsea on January 2011 transfer window. The lanky Englishmen has been a subject of criticism for his performances on the field. Hence, it is no big surprise, when the Liverpool think-tank has decided to loan out the player or in fact sell the player, if the right deal comes through. It seems that the Liverpool player does not fit into Brendan Rodgers style of tiki-taka style of football.

After Liverpool declared their intentions about Andy Carroll, host number of clubs are interested in the player, who has the skills to be a great player. Some of these teams are AC Milan, Fulham, West Ham, Newcastle United. Though, nothing as such has broken out to interest football fans. Fulham seems to be on a desperate need of a striker, so it could be wise to catch on the player, before other teams start to line him up. Fulham can also use it as cash plus player deal , as Liverpool are also interested in C. Demspey.

Such clubs are supposedly on pursuit of the player, as they know he has it in him to deliver the goods like the way he did at Newcastle before he joined Liverpool. He has age by his side to improve. On his given day, he can demolish opponents. But, it was unfortunate for the player not to play well in Liverpool’s jersey . Kenny Dalglish gave him plenty of chances to showcase his skill, but it was only during the latter stages of the EPL last season that he was coming good.

Fabio Borini, Liverpool transfers

With Fabio Boroni almost sure to make it into the Liverpool squad for next season, Carroll’s chances of warming the bench increases more with Suarez already in the squad. His talent should not be wasted on the bench. It would be better if the player himself decides to leave Liverpool, which at the moment Andy s reluctant to and wants to fight for his place.

Interesting days lie ahead for the club as some Liverpool transfers are doing the rounds. They are very eager to get the signature done with players that would be playing in the EPL next season, before they start their pre-seaosn tours. It would give these new players time to settle in the club, before the opening weekend of EPL fixtures.
