Robert Lewandowski looks set for Manchester United jersey

June 8, 2012

Robert Lewandowski, the Polish and the Borussia Dortmund striker looks set to sign for Manchester United. The English Club wants to have the best possible squad for next season and they would be hell bent in bringing that EPL title to Old Trafford, which they lost in spite of being one of the best team in EPL last season. Hence, they have already brought in some players into the squad, who could make the much needed change in the team’s fortune.

After signing the Japanese star, Shinji Kagawa last week in a £12million deal from Borussia Dortmund, they seem to have targeted Robert Lewandowski who has a proven goal scoring record. Arsenal also seems to be interested in the player. He scored a total of 30 goals during the season, which is a good number for any domestic league. These goals talk highly about the player, who is expected to shine for Manchester United in the upcoming season.

It would be interesting to note how well can the striker combine with Rooney. If these two players click, it could be Manchester United’s season, as he has all the skills to make him a big hit among United fans. He is a great threat inside the box and could trouble the defenders with his goal scoring ability.

Though, as of now, there is nothing official about it. But, the move is expected to happen between the two sides. So unless it happens, we should just sit back, relax and watch the Euro 2012, which is sure to showcase some other players and big clubs would also keep their cash ready to sign them.
