Hulk could be a great addition to Chelsea, if signed

When the Brazilian and Porto player, Hulk came up with a statement, which said that he is not going to forget Porto if he leaves the Portuguese club, we do not require a rocket scientist to read between those lines. It is evident that the player will move out of Porto. Chelsea is said to be the top favourite to land the big player, who could be an amazing signing for the blues. Many media reports even claim that the player has agreed a deal with Chelsea for GBP 38 million, but these are all rumours unless it is officially declared by either of the clubs, Chelsea or Porto .

But, just imagine, what this player could add to the Chelsea squad, who already has some of the best strikers in world football. D. Sturridge has proved his class in the 2011-12 season, though, Fernando Torres looked out of form. Chelsea fans would expect Torres to fire on all cylinders next season, as he could be the go to main for Chelsea, after Drogba left the club. Kalou just adds another great strength in the their attacking abilities.

Hulk, if signed up by Chelsea could easily play alongside Fernando Torres and make a great partnership, which the Spaniard could not with Drogba. It is going to be a tough task for defenders to put a check across Hulk, who has a solid physiqe along with good height to trouble defenders. Unlike many tall players, he has great ball skills to bamboozle defenders. He belongs to a league of its own.

Chelsea has had a mixed season, as they won the Champions League and the FA Cup, but were miserable in the Premier League, which still remains to be a great concern. Hence, they have tried to bring in some changes into the squad, ahead of the Premier league for the upcoming season. They have roped in Eden Hazard, who will bring the creativity at the center of the park for Chelsea. Roman Abramovich, Chelsea’s owner has never been shy of cashing in any amount, if the player fits the bill perfectly.
